Fragrance Oils

Why Does The Fragrance Seem Overpowering When I Smell It Directly From The Bottle?

When you smell a fragrance directly from the bottle, you're experiencing the most concentrated version of the scent, which can make it feel more intense or sharp. However, when you use a few drops in a diffuser, or allow the fragrance to spread through the air, it interacts with the environment, allowing the different scent notes to develop and reveal themselves more gradually. This diffusion process creates a more balanced, layered aroma that fills the room, giving you the full experience of the fragrance as intended.

How Much Fragrance Should I Use?

The amount of fragrance you should use depends on the size of the space and your personal preference for scent intensity. For most medium-sized rooms, a few drops in a diffuser or a couple of sprays are usually enough to create a pleasant, balanced aroma. For larger spaces, you may want to increase the amount slightly, but always start with a small amount to avoid overpowering the room. You can gradually add more as needed until you achieve the desired level of fragrance.

How Long Does it Last?

The longevity of a fragrance depends on several factors, including the type of product, the size of the room, and air circulation. Typically, a well-diffused fragrance can last several hours, while candles or reed diffusers can provide a continuous scent for days or even weeks. For sprays or oils, the scent may linger from a few hours to a day, depending on how much is used. To maintain a consistent fragrance, you can refresh the scent by adding more drops or using the product as needed.

Room Sprays

Why the Room Spray Has a Milky Look?

Our room spray has a white, milky appearance because we prioritize creating a non-toxic, safe product. Instead of using alcohol, which can be harsh and drying, we use a natural emulsifier called polysorbate, combined with distilled water as the base. Polysorbate helps blend the fragrance with the water, ensuring a well-balanced and even mist. The "milky" look is a natural result of this process, but rest assured, it's completely safe and effective in delivering a beautiful, long-lasting scent without the use of harmful chemicals.

Is It Safe For Use Everywhere?

Our room spray is non-toxic and water-based, making it safe for use in most spaces, including on linens and as an air mist. However, we recommend avoiding direct application on plastic or delicate surfaces, as prolonged contact may cause damage. For best results, use it to refresh fabrics, bedding, or simply to fill the air with fragrance, while being mindful of sensitive materials.

Candles

Is There Any Secrets To Light A Candle?

While there's no real secret to lighting a candle, it does require a bit of care to burn properly and safely. Always trim the wick and remove any burned wick residue before lighting to ensure a clean burn. Allow the candle to burn long enough for the entire surface of the wax to melt—this prevents "tunneling" and ensures an even burn. Additionally, avoid burning the candle when it has less than 10% of the wax remaining, as this can cause the glass to overheat and potentially crack. Finally, never move a candle while it’s burning to avoid accidents or spills.

Why Does the Candle Make Noise When Burning?

The gentle crackling sound you hear when burning our candle comes from the wooden wick. This subtle noise mimics the comforting sound of a small fireplace, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. It's a natural characteristic of wooden wicks and adds an extra sensory element to your candle experience, making it even more relaxing and enjoyable.

Why Doesn't the Candle Wax Look Smooth After Burning?

We use 100% natural soy wax in our candles, with no additives except for our exclusive fragrance. This means the wax is free from the synthetic ingredients that often give candles a consistently smooth appearance. While this makes the candle more natural and eco-friendly, it may lose some of its smooth, clean look after burning. The texture can appear uneven, but rest assured, this is completely normal and does not affect the quality or performance of the candle. It's simply a result of using pure, additive-free soy wax.

Reed Diffusers

Why the Reed Diffuser feels so light? It doesn't fill the room.

Reed diffusers provide a subtle, continuous fragrance, which can sometimes feel lighter in larger or well-ventilated rooms. For a more noticeable scent, try flipping the reeds more frequently, adding extra reeds, or placing the diffuser in a smaller or more enclosed area where the fragrance can concentrate more effectively.

What is the best way to set up a Reed Diffuser?

To set up a reed diffuser, place it in a high-traffic area where air movement helps disperse the fragrance. Insert the reeds into the oil, flipping them after a few hours to enhance scent release. For a stronger aroma, flip the reeds weekly, and avoid placing near open windows or vents.
